Conventional Wisdom

This is probably the most text I’ve ever tried to wedge into a Conventional Wisdom page. It’s also, to the best that I can remember without looking through the archives, the first time any of the mascots have appeared in a “real” CW page. The dawn of a new era!

I must acknowledge, though, that the throwaway gag in the second panel is by far the funniest part of the whole page. Oh well.

(Historical Notes: Oh man, this is another “will The Kids Today even know what I’m talking about?” moments, several in fact.  I shudder to think how many children have never heard of “The Game” or Insert Hall Dancing Song Here, never mind how much ANYONE remembers Hillshire Farms’ “GO MEAT” chant.)
