Animazement 2009: May 22nd – 24th
It’s a little mind boggling to me that I’ve been doing Conventional Wisdom for nearly a year now, yet I’m only now getting around to this one. Animazement really is “home” for me, and not just because it’s the only convention less than an hour from my house. AZ was the first convention I ever attended, the only one I ever do anything at other than show up, and still the one I’ve attended the most.
By the time you read this, I’ll have already been at the Raleigh Convention Center for the better part of a day, and hopefully I’ll already have some comics done. One way or another, the Animazement comics should be online a week from today, so stay tuned!
(Historical Note: After finally skipping Otakon in 2019, Animazement is now officially the longest running convention in this comic’s line-up. It’s been covered every full year Conventional Wisdom has been active, and only missed out 2008 because the comic didn’t exist yet. Because, you know, Animazement clearly needed one more thing for me to gush about it being special over)
