Conventional Wisdom

(Historical Notes: Yes, in this case I actually DID manage to sync up the public comic and the Patreon comic to not just build off each other but ALSO go up at around the same time  And it wasn’t even an Animazement comic!  This technically was part of my Giant Gorg Weekly Anime Comics!  I am NOT normally that coordinated.  Case in point, this page is ALSO another case of me getting really excited about my ever-growing library of Fake Anime Titles to copy paste over the real stuff in the top panel.  It took a VERY long time to do all the extra art, to the point that I not only skipped a lot of details but didn’t even bother to properly color them in… only for the final comic to shove them so far in the back and behind the dialog bubble that they’re pretty much all illegible.  I mean, Past Me was correct to decide that the sprawling table of cases in front of me was more important to the comic than whatever fake posters I made up, but it was still another harsh lesson in what NOT to waste too much time and energy on.

And, of course, since I’m writing this at a time when I’m nowhere NEAR starting a public gallery to re-post older Patreon comics for the general public, I guess you’ll just have to become a patron to see what the heck I’m talking about!  Oh well!)
