Conventional Wisdom

I mean, I’m still gonna complain about things I don’t like either way, I find that too entertaining not to.  Still, it was comforting to bump into multiple people this weekend who had the same “There’s not really anything here for ME anymore” feelings that I got some blowback over for expressing about QCAC 2021.  If anything, these guys have it even worse than me.  At least I’ve got comic stuff to keep me busy and justify the fact that I keep showing up.  THESE poor souls who showed up to an “anime convention” because of what that name meant fifteen years ago had nothing to do all weekend but sulk about how mislead they felt.  A little truth in advertising is all I ask for.
