Conventional Wisdom

(Historical Notes: Look, it’s one thing if it gets a bit drizzly outside during a con.  It’s another thing entirely if the convention center’s gutters fail and Artist’s Alley starts to flood.  THAT’S the kind of thing that gets stories told about it years later.  Yes, some of the stuff down there got water damaged, and people were NOT happy about it.  And to think, the convention center staff thought WE were the ones who’d make a mess of the place.)
