HOLY CRAP, THERE’S ACTUALLY A FILLER COMIC! …AND IT’S PROMISING ACTUAL PATREON COMICS AGAIN! WHAT IS THIS MADNESS???

Yeah, I kind of let the delicate balance of my update schedule go completely pear shaped over the summer, didn’t I? I feel kinda bad about that (Heck, I’m not even certain in “three months” is the correct length of time, it was too depressing to go back and examine all the dates to find out).

SOOOooo, while I have this brief window between cons, I’ve been burning the midnight oil to get ahead on a few things. The next show on the anime queue is Servant X Service, and if I can keep the current level of productivity up, I’ll have the whole run of comics (that’s enough to update weekly for two whole months) finished by the end of the week! And if I can at least get a head start on the NEXT series -Osomatsu-san- as well, that should ensure that Conventional Wisdom’s Patreon comics will keep updating weekly no matter HOW bugged down I get on Christmas stuff this year! (and, honestly, having one less thing to worry about by then will make all the Christmas stuff move a LOT master)

So, the first Servant X Service comic will be up Thursday, and hopefully that’ll be the return to weekly updates on that front. And don’t forget, if you aren’t a patron already, just one dollar a month gets you access to all the comics the second they go up! You can go check the public Patreon Gallery for a taste of what the supporters are getting, but there’s always more that’s only on Patreon. Oh, and if there’s a show you want me to be doing comics about, FIVE dollar a month patrons get to add shows to the queue! Come on, you KNOW there’s something you wanna force me to watch for your own amusement, right?

(Historical Notes: Yeah, crap like this is why pretty much everything Patreon-related wound up going on hiatus for so long, and why the anime comics STILL aren’t a thing again as I write this in late 2020.  It’s not just me flaking out, though.  The promised next series, Osomatsu-san, never actually wound up happening anyway because that particular backer had to cancel his pledge.  So not only have I had to re-think how much material I can actually produce in a single stretch of time, I’m also having to figure out reward tiers that won’t be disrupted when Real Life happens.  At the moment, I have yet to work out either.)
