Conventional Wisdom

I had some second thoughts about this page at the last minute, ‘cos I don’t want to give the impression that the Fanthropology panel was dense or impenetrable. If there’s one thing Charles Dunbar excels at, it’s making the big words easy to process. Still, I found myself really struggling to take the VERY intelligent stuff being discussed and dumb it down to my own silly little cartoon levels. I mean, come on. I draw funny animals with fish growing out of their heads. I don’t think I’m qualified to be offering commentary of the intersections between anthropology and fandoms.
