Conventional Wisdom

Before anybody thinks I’m afraid to admit my own failings, I’ll freely own up to the fact that the one time I actually participated in a cosplay contest, I wasn’t much better than these kids.  But the thing is, THEY JUST KEPT DOING THIS.  Like, over and over they’d awkwardly run past the emcee, then awkwardly realize they hadn’t been introduced, then the host would have to make up something to fill the dead air, and then THE NEXT KID WOULD DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN!  It just got funnier and funnier every time.
