Seriously, once it got dark and they turned all the mood lighting on, that got REALLY distracting. Every time somebody somebody went up to the third floor, it was like inspiration was striking from on high. I kept expecting a choir to start singing from somewhere.

(Historical Notes: Again, the layout of everything felt really weird.  There was actually a whole second layer of the mezzanine, in the same cavernous space but up a flight of stairs, that I think would have made a much better spot for artist alley.  Not only was it out of the flow of people who had no intention of actually buying anything, but it wasn’t right next to the elevators and their distracting lights!  But no, the tables remained on the main floor, and that upper level was left entirely empty.)
