Oh look! It’s part of the reason this update took so long!

(Historical Notes: WOW those free Red Bulls got mentioned a lot.  You can really tell I was struggling to find stuff to talk about that wasn’t related to the embarrassing attendance problems.  But again, I didn’t know much about WHY nobody was showing up, just a few random conversations between staffers that I overheard in passing.  Even now, I don’t actually know all THAT much about what was going down behind the scenes.  Since this wasn’t the spectacular flameout that stuff like Dashcon was, so there’s not exactly a wealth of sensationalized postmortem retrospectives to be found at short notice.  That’s probably another reason why Past Me didn’t get these comics out as quickly as hoped.  Writing around the single most obvious thing kind of makes creative thinking a bit of a chore.)
