Conventional Wisdom

Is it unnecessarily confusing of me to use a whole block of made up anime titles in setting up a joke based around the actual sizzle reel used by an actual company on actual, NOT-made-up releases?  Probably.  Did I only do that because I forgot to write down just what stuff Stefan actually bought that day, and I was editing this page at an hour where just messaging him would have been really inconvenient?  Mostly.  Is this still exactly what he wound up doing Friday night?  ABSOLUTELY.  That part is not even remotely fictionalized.

Also, fun fact: I went on a pretty big Sythwave kick back in the day, and for YEARS I was sure I had some song lurking in my music library that was actually the backing track to “Every Night” by To Live & Die in LA, only without the lyrics.  It’s literally only now, when I went to check before posting this, that I’m realizing I actually don’t… I just have twenty or thirty OTHER songs that sound ALMOST identical to it.  An honest mistake.
