You know, it’s a good thing I went ahead and wrote a note explaining that this was an alternate version of the Dr. Forrester costume, even though there was SUPPOSED to be a few other pages of me in the normal Dr. F costume… seeing as how all those comics ended up getting dropped or pushed back to the upcoming set of Patreon comics.
Also, fun story: the whole reason I busted out the formal Dr. F costume again was because of the MAGProm/Cabaret/whatever thing… which I never actually went to because finding the place to get Servo checked seemed like, you know, EFFORT.
(Historical Notes: I deliberately made it a policy to not try and bring props like Servo into crowded rooms like the concert hall except in very unique circumstances. Even if there’s not extensive bag checks going on, and every year MAGfest had to get more and more strict about keeping stupidity out of the concerts, I just don’t like the thought of some rando running into the prop and one or both of them getting damaged. Also, more of Past Me trying to dance around just how much I was coming to dislike this whole environment. Gotta love the passive-agressive “IT’S ALL JUST A JOKE LOL” way out.)
I’ve always had that same fear with my own Servo in crowded halls and places at cons, and yet without fail nearly every time he does get damaged it’s always just from his dome falling off and busting on the ground.
I know, right? Every single instance of dome damage I’ve had happened with absolutely nobody else around!
