I did get the picture, though.
(Historical Notes: All things considered, it was far from the worst weather I’d ever seen at Katsucon, but I do think this was the one time that it was specifically WIND that was the problem, not some manner of precipitation. And yes, there actually was some poor sap out there with a wigged cosplay, seriously regretting the life choices that led him to this moment.)
I can’t remember if it was Magfest or Katsucon in the Harbor, but one of those years on Sunday the wind was so strong it took Servo’s dome off his head base and I had to run after it down the road. The winds off the Potomac are no joke.
