In hindsight, maybe I SHOULD have found the time to go to that Ring of Honor show, or found SOME other thing to cap off the weekend. I foolishly assumed there’d be a few conventions this spring where I could make up for any lack of memorable moments at this one. Silly me.
But yeah, you don’t need me to tell you that any plans ANYONE might have had for the next few months are on hold now. So what does that mean for Conventional Wisdom? Well, I already went into it over on blitzthecomicguy.com, but I can reiterate here too. Obviously, any spring conventions are assumed to be off until I’m told otherwise, and I’m not making assumptions about the summer either. However, Conventional Wisdom does have an ace up its sleeve. Remember ConCONcon? The fake April Fools comics that I spun into a regular weekly filler series last year? Well, if ever there was a time for more of those, we’re in the middle of it. So check back here every Wednesday starting next week for new pages of ConCONcon 2020!
…and if you’re still going through con withdrawal after that, I’ve still got, like, SEVEN YEARS worth of old Conventional Wisdom comics left to re-post here. So keep checking the chapter list or watching the Twitters and tumblrs and Facebooks for new/old updates being added between the ConCONcon stuff!
ConCONcon, the Con that can be enjoyed just as much at home as if actually at the Con (due to there being no real difference between the two).
Honestly, there will probably be MORE bathing and hand washing than there usually is at a real con
So what you’re saying is that, at ConCONcon, there will be at least a comic page dedicated to the requirement for participants to enter through some sort of bathhouse, and use it’s facilities. Possibly a car-wash inspired bathhouse, but a bathhouse none-the-less.
