It was a panel called “Where’s Our Flying Cars and Hoverboards?” How could I NOT go? Actually, it was a really interesting discussion on how Science Fiction is often too optimistic about technological advancement. Very good for anyone aspiring to write some futuristic SciFi, and super entertaining to boot. The panel was hosted by the good folks of G33kWatch, so of course they know a thing or two about being listenable.

(Historical Notes: It didn’t make it into a comic itself, but this panel marked the first time I plugged the comic to anyone and found out they already knew about it.  The Internet Geek scene wasn’t as overstuffed back then as it is now, it was at least SOMEWHAT easier to get noticed.)
