Conventional Wisdom

To be clear, this was resolved fairly quickly and wasn’t a big deal in the end.  You gotta understand that, LAST year, the Anime Home Video Museum was set up in the left corner of Artist Alley, against the outer wall with all the power outlets.  THIS year, they moved it to the RIGHT corner, where the “wall” was actually a temporary partition to block Artist Alley off from the Dealer’s Room.  It just never seemed to occur to anybody that there aren’t power outlets in those things until right at that very moment.  Again, it was resolved quickly.  The convention center techies wound up plugging several extension cables into outlets over on the Dealer’s Room side and running them under the partition, which the museum could then plug all its power strips into and everything was fine.  It was just a bit of a trip to watch that lightbulb moment play out in real time.

Also, hey look!  A comic that I’m not even in!  How often does THAT happen?
