Yeah, I spent around 90% of my time minding the tables at the museum on Sunday, to make up for all the time I spent away on Friday and Saturday… gathering up material for comics that wound up getting cut in order to save time.  (I guess you’ll just have to sign up on Patreon and see that stuff there instead!) But yeah, if anybody was hoping to see a Cosplay Chess comic this year, I’m afraid you’re out of luck.  This was the first time in quite a few Animazements that I wasn’t able to go.  Hey, SOMEBODY’S gotta make sure no one runs off with that Daicon IV laserdisc!

In all seriousness, though, this really was a weird reminder of what it used to be like working Artist Alley at cons.  It’s been a while since my “doing convention stuff” moments were so specifically tied to an outside schedule, and not just one or two panels I needed to be at.  You really have to change the way you think about the passage of time, or at least how you prioritize what time you have.  Yes, I’m talking about time management when it’s taken me two months to draw seventeen internet doodles (and counting).
