Conventional Wisdom

(Historical Notes: Yes. Yeeeeeeeeeees!  That’s it, Past Me!  Be honest!  Let them all know how you REALLY feel!  I can’t remember if I’ve said this already on another page, but I’ve actually edited my bookmarks for both Facebook and Twitter so that they jump straight to my profile page instead of the news feed.  I don’t wanna know anything about what any of you people are saying.  But you know what the best part is?  I’m not even sure I remember what the catalyst of this little outburst even was.  I vaguely recall there being some brewhaha about a voice actor getting drunk and losing his badge, then going on Twitter to rant about how the convention center staff didn’t know who he was and let him in anyway.  And of course, because voice actors are needy dumpster fires who surround themselves with a protective coating of desperate sycophantic groupies, fans of whoever-it-was pitched a fit at the con about it.  In case you can’t tell, I had very little sympathy.  I mean, it was the BUILDING staff who checked badges at AZ, not con staff.  The folks working at the RCC couldn’t give less of a crap about this Japanimation garbage if they tried.  If you think any of them would study the program guide enough to recognize every guest on sight, then you REALLY had too much to drink.)
