Conventional Wisdom

…and the thing is, I USUALLY don’t do this. I’m the guy who usually mocks the people who wait in line for the Dealer’s Room, and I ALWAYS wait until after dark to go get my badge at Otakon. But then, with Otakon, there is LITERALLY nothing going on Thursday outside of registration, so there’s no reason to hurry at all. Most of the time, Animazement has at least ONE thing Thursday night that I’m into, so I lined up in a hurry out of habit. IT IS THE WAY IT ALWAYS HAS BEEN AND ALWAYS SHALL BE.

(Historical Notes: It’s also because I just don’t like leaving stuff for later on, even if there’s not even anything else to do.  It’s part of the same thought process that sees me driving up to cons HOURS beforehand just to avoid scrambling to get a good parking space.)
