Seriously, you turned left at the elevators and it was a row of normal hotel rooms, but turn right and it was where somebody’s start-up goes to die. I really have no clue what was going on with that hotel, because I kind of struggle to believe that renting out office space as a side hustle would actually be more lucrative than just continuing to operate as a hotel. After all, the only reason Sangawa was able to put stuff in there was because it didn’t have a regular tenant.
And yes, I did crank up the Yellow on the first panel to make the “backrooms” reference hit home better. The second panel is what the area ACTUALLY looked like.
