Okay, some context for those who don’t know: for a WHILE, one of the main things I actually “did” at Otakon was hang out with Digimon cosplayers.  Aside from the big group photoshoot on Sunday, there would traditionally be a more casual hang out on Saturday night… which would traditionally be camping themed.  Ya know, since most of the shows involve kids roughing it out in the Digital World, and they end up camping, and blah blah blah.  We even had a plush campfire once.  It’s a shame that the con only ran with this theme AFTER we stopped doing this stuff, is what I’m saying.

Also, apologies to the affected parties for me TOTALLY FORGETTING WHAT YOUR ACTUAL COSTUMES WERE and drawing you in one of Conventional Wisdom’s stock generic costumes instead (which my supporters on Patreon will know more about).

Also also, I’m sure there were plenty of pieces of official promo art and announcements on the convention website to hype up the camping theme… but come on.  Do I really look like somebody who EVER checks the convention website to stay informed about things?
