Conventional Wisdom

(Historical Notes: In fairness, I’m pretty sure the signs were to discourage actually getting up and running around on the stage, not so much just sitting on the edge.  But still, there was very little in the way of actual open seating throughout the rest of the one-room convention space, so there was a LOT of people sitting on the stage, right next to the signs about staying off the stage.
