Wow, we made it all the way to page TEN before a page took more than a day to come out… and that one page had three pages’ worth of art in it!  I really HAVE been on fire with this update, huh?  Also, it took us all the way to page ten to finally get to stuff that happened after Friday.  Yeah, this was one of the most front-loaded convention weekends I’ve had in a looooong time, so it kind of throws off the comic coverage a bit.  Trust me, Saturday and Sunday are going to feel like they breeze by in a flash. I made a point of not having anything to actually DO the other two days just to make up for how packed the first day was.

Anyway, this is another page of me backtracking on the whole “fictional anime references only” rule, because this whole joke isn’t half as funny if it’s being made about some made-up property you don’t already have expectations about.  But seriously, remember how wacky action figures used to be?  Just think about some of the crazy Batman toys we grew up with.  Remember that one where you could pop off the front, and that was somehow a super-advanced “decoy” technology that totally made it worth buying all over again?  Also, that middle Asuka almost turned into a Diebuster reference without me even meaning it.

Finally, if you’re wondering why this page all about action figures is hosted by Yoink and not Miffy the Merchandising Mascot… well, just you wait.  All will be revealed shortly!
