Katsucon 2015 – page 1
That’s how you KNOW I wasn’t fully recovered from MAGFest yet. I forgot a lot of stuff during the days leading up to Katsu, but managing to leave the house and actually get several miles down the road without Servo… that’s just SAD.
Also, if there’s one thing I miss about living in DC, it’s how living on public transportation gave me an excuse not to try and draw cars. Yuck.
(Historical Notes: Past Me says that as if I was ever any better at drawing subways. But yeah, this demonstrates the first reason Katsucon needed to go right away. I just had too much stuff going on at the start of the year, and needed to start spreading my conventions out a bit better. Granted, it’d be a while before I really got serious about enforcing that little rule, but it was far from the ONLY factor at play…)
Haha, leaving your Tom Servo at home in your room. Not like it was left outside the vehicle in a parking garage in the middle of Baltimore and found by the staff of the deck. Who would do a thing like that?!
You weren’t there to see it, but I DID leave him in panel rooms MORE THAN ONCE at AWA one year.
